European CAPE Users meet in Paris, St-Germain-en-Laye

E-UGM general meeting will offer presentations on the latest developments and news, exchange of ideas, customer priorities, etc.fee is expected to be around € 300 - € 325, including the

CAPE Refresher Training, Wednesday, September 3, 2008.
Refresher Training Courses. On Wednesday, Electrocon trainers will offer joint refresher training courses for an estimate of € 350,-. At the UGM in the States, this has been a well-appreciated opportunity to learn about specific CAPE topics based on each participant's interests.
E-UGM will take place in a beautiful, historical suburb of great Paris, Saint- Germain- en- Laye. We will be hosted in a charming three star hotel l’Ermitage des Loges, with excellent conference rooms, comfortable lodging, and good gastronomic French cuisine.
The area is a historic heavyweight: a castle from the Middle Ages, once the residence of the French royalty, with gothic gardens and a breathtaking view over Paris-City.
Lodging in a quiet, rural area, the (shopping-) Centre of Paris is easy to visit taking the Subway. There are direct connections to all interesting places by Subway trains. There are also efficient subway connections to the airports of Charles de Gaulle and Orly.

Prices for the rooms are reasonable: € 85 + € 11,80 for breakfast over the weekend and € 131 + € 11,80 during the week. For those who want to travel with their partner, we can offer advantageous rates for double rooms. For our participants we have arranged a block booking. Details will follow, as soon as we have the fees for the Users Group Meeting and the Refresher Training Courses established.
For those who want to visit CIGRE and stay in Paris over the weekend, for Sunday arrivalm rooms will be about € 110.- that Sunday night. It will be wise to travel on Sunday. The conference will start on Monday at 9 am and it will be practically impossible to travel in time on Monday morning from airports around Paris to the city and its suburbs.
