When I clicked on a link in one post, it asked me to login again.
Is one login to the forum not adequate or is there another reason ?

One login to the forum should be adequate. Be sure to click the "Keep me logged in" or similar option box when you first login. Also, I think cookies need to be turned on in your browser.
